The Memphis Grizzlies selected Javon Small with the 48th pick in the NBA Draft.

Small ticks a lot of boxes for Memphis. He’s a steady playmaker that rarely turns it over. He’s a menace at the point-of-attack. His off-ball shooting and free throw touch indicate he can play off the ball as well. He also fits that dawg mentality the Grizzlies set out for at the beginning of the offseason.

It’s likely he’ll be on a two-way contract next season. However, Small has the skillset to be the Grizzlies’ next two-way conversion story.
